In an effort to re-embrace (?) my photographic self, I have made a conscious effort to carry my camera with me as much as possible lately. I've let myself ride on the "you don't have anything to shoot" excuse too long, and have dedicated myself to learning how to photograph my environment in a clear, unique manner.
This is a bit of a challenge for me, because my house is excessively dark. So I have to use really high ISOs which doesn't play well with my camera, I also have a bit of a focal point issue, which I've yet to figure if its my lens/camera or just user error... ! Anyway...

In a word. Ugh. I've been in a weird mood all week, which I think is partly to do with Pompei leaving. I don't know. I'm just glad it's over. For this week's daily photo, I mostly focused on the Pompsters, seeing as (1) I don't have "near" enough photos of him (only about 5GBS worth) and (2) we've gotta commemorate his last week with me in some way shape or fashion. :) However I'm happy that I remembered to take a photo daily. Yay Me! :)

Dear Diary: Today I did nothing

Dear Diary,
Today I ate breakfast...
I also finally straightened up my bedroom, and put the vacumm cleaner back together. I took it apart cause it was clogged, and apparently leaving it outside during a rain storm, (it was on the porch) can cause the hair and such like to clog, and stink up the place. So is spent a good thirty minutes cleaning that. Yeah self...don't do that again. But wow did it work great after that!
It had better! psht. Got distracted by my computer, and surfed the net for a while, while listening to Dr. Laura beat up people on the radio. Always a good time. {-That's sarcasm btw} Have I mentioned I'm a talk radio junkie? Tackled the bathroom, tried to get rid of as much scum but ugh oh well. Also tried to pry open the teeny window in their but no such luck. In other news the bathroom is looking great. Got distracted by the sun, and went outside for a while.
My sister trapped me into driving her to work, so i decided to pile the dogs in and take them too a park since I was going out. Need to remember that walking them in the middle of the day is not a good idea. Poor things were about dead after about one lap. The dachshunds anyway.
Today I ate breakfast...
Yes it was 11AM,but hey it was within two hours after I got up, so that counts in my mind.Did you know there are some people who eat like...THREE meals a day? I'm doing good if I get two in.

Can you spot two dogs in this photo??
I couldn't find my dog seat cover, before we left so they used this.
Came home and spent as much time outside. Thank God for laptops. The camera missed me dumping Pink Lemonade all over myself.... Miss my computer by INCHES.
Did some more cleaning, cooking, chatted with my righty neighbors. This is surprising because i didn't really think they liked me that much, but I got a "Hi how are You" for the first time in the 1yr+ I've lived in the neighborhood. Interesting. Spent the rest of the evening between my and neighbors left's house. Broke down and did the dishes. I hate dishes. I would clean bathrooms over dishes.
Also melted and then re-froze ice cream really doesn't taste all that good, even with lots of stuff covering it. Might as well throw it. away. *sniff*

Today's' random photos come from Photography class! :) I really should have taken a photo of the "NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN CLASSROOM" sign, along with my soda bottle. The real question here is: Why have vending machines in the building if we can't even drink in the class rooms!??!
Not that anyone obeys those signs.
Speaking of vending machines...
I was very sad to see there was no Cherry Dr. Pepper in the vending machines today. So I had to settle for Cherry Coke. A VERY.POOR. substitute.
Today really wasn't all that great of a day, but I'm trying to keep this post as lighthearted as possible, for myself. It would be very easy for me to pour my guts about this highly...emotionally straining day; but in this case I would just be feeling sorry for myself, and just sinking deeper into that pit of ....despair?
So I'm just going to look at the good...

A new Month.
I am actually excited to see what March has in store for us.
I'm really hoping it includes lots and lots of sunshine.
I don't really care if its cold, if the suns shining.
I have to be outside, everyday for at least an hour regardless, but it makes scooping poop so much more fun, if the sun is shining. :-)
Updated my 101 N 1001 - 12 things done, only one last month. :( As soon as my refrigerator gets repaired, or replaced, I can began working on some other things, such as my daily water intake.
I mean I COULD start now...but drinking warm water is kind of nasty IMO.
Drinking warm Dr.Pepper is worse now that I think about it....
C is almost finished moving in, all she had to do was move in her room really, so I guess she'll just hang out at home, until she reaches her deadline. Her mom is not excited about all of her kids being out of the house, so she's attempting to make the transition a little bit eaiser.
Couches were moved in today, the dachshunds are very upset that they don't get to lay on them...when I'm looking anyway.
I'm....... still dealing with preparing to share my house, I'm fine with it, but its still a big adjustment.
My biggest worry will be my dogs. My family (bless their hearts) were split down the middle about dogs. Four of them, were ok/loved the dogs, while the other four, tolerated/didn't like them. As a dog LOVER that was an extremely difficult situation for me to be in.
Those of you who own dogs, know the "joys" of dog ownership include, training socialization, messes, accidents, chewed things, etc..etc...
In order to have a great "relationship" with dog and family, EVERYONE HAS TO BE on the same page. But being split down the middle, everyone had their own ideas about how I should be handling different situations. And (this is why I love my family) freely expressed them too me.
NOTE: PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL THAT I WAS ALLOWED TO HAVE MY PUPPIES, SO THIS IS NOT BASHING THAT AT ALL!!!
I was pretty much frustrated, on edge and stayed in my room all the time.
We'll not even talk about my friends reactions... (think typical black girl...*screams, screeching, scrambling to get away. OMG GET HIM AWAY FROM ME....etc..etc..)
So you can see that I'm a little nervous this will happen again. Granted C & co. have never displayed any negative reactions, to my animals...well other than R shoving them out of "her" house with her foot....*cough* *cough*
C has really been great about them, and I know she could care less, but until I get a "visual" comformation of that, our first few weeks together will be interesting.....
