Monday moments

That moment when…
1. You forgot to bring your lunch but then you realize that your work is catering lunch today!
2. When your teacher asks you about your opinion of his class in class, and you don't have any answer.
3. Halfway through the work day, you realize that your body hates you.
4. You realize that wearing heeled shoes is a bad idea when you have to walk across campus. Why did I wear these? Oh yeah they match my outfit. Good news, my feet hate me too.
And last but not least, 5. when you finally realize that you made it through an entire workday with minimal mistakes and got there semi on time!

That's how you know it's been a Monday! How was yours?

The End is Nigh

THE END!
The end is in sight people, I can see it in Friday waving at me!!

.............

.....And its yelling something....

"Take yourself on a shopping spree?"
........
I love you end of the semester! That sounds like a great plan! However one requires money to do that, and that's something I'm loathe to part with at the moment. So we'll just ignore the little guy and discuss what its going to take to get to Friday.
Lots of grit and determination that's what, I've got to burn a DVD with lots of photos on it, and then stick my printed photos into a portfolio type binder and take it too school with me.
*blows out breath*
Only two more days. I can do this.
HA!
Who am I kidding, these next two days are just a formality in my book.
In my mind, the semester is over.
Good Bye and Good riddance worst-school-year-ever!
I can actually sit at my computer, and play games!
I have NOTHING DUE!
NO TIMELINES!
NO PROJECTS!
NO ASSIGNMENTS!
I"M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
And giddy if you can't tell.
I know this is one of those posts, where you all start scrambling for your "unsubscribe/Stop Following" buttons...but its ok.
I can live with knowing that I"m a unique individual.
Cause SCHOOLS ALMOST OVER!!!!!!!
*Runs screaming out of the room*
Or perhaps I've had a little too much caffeine.

Before this year, I loved school, I enjoyed the breaks..but was ready to get back in the grind of things, by the time they were over. Now....I'm enjoying the breaks a little too much. To the point, where I'm forcing myself to go and sign up for another semester.
Is that a sign that I'm in the wrong major?
I've been trying to figure that one out for the last.. Idon'tknow...12 months?
What I do know, is that my hands are tied at the moment, and its just another "hurry up and wait."
...now lets just hope all my classes haven't been dropped due to financial aid not paying for them....

Wednesday: Today was the last class of portfolio class, now at the beginning of the semester, all of our teachers tell us how strict they are with their cell phone policy, but they don't really mean it. I've been using my phone to check into foursquare, update my Twitter status, text friends, write to do lists and a whole host of other things as my teachers droned on and one about something or another. Today I got caught. It was really my other class mates fault, since her phone vibrated, just as I looked down and touched the screen of mine. Did my teacher just call my name, and ask me to put my phone away? Noo.. he go up, in the middle of a critique and walked back to me, and looked at my phone, screen before asking me if I could put that up.
I was tempted for a half of a second, to say "No" but I told him yes, and sat there. However, he wanted me to remove it from me, and put it on my desk, and it took me a moment to realize that's what he wanted to do, and complied. Truthfully I thought it was funny, the last day of class I get "BUSTED" for using my phone. It was a little awkward I will admit, but oh well. Its my own fault. I'm done with that teacher for the semester! Yipee!
One more class to go!!!

The Semester to Remember

One more class, and my first week of school is finished. An Interesting week to say the least, I have defiantly changed since my last experience in campus classroom setting. For once I was not nervous about entering a room for of people I didn't know.
For the majority of my 20 years, I have been painfully shy. Hovering in the shadow of my best friends Brittany & Kamra, who were both very outing going/popular people.(Still Are! LOL) It wasn't until they....took a leave of absences..that I realized that I could stand on my own two feet. Well that and becoming a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation. Having a puppy by your side brings a LOT of attention your way. I was forced to talk to people. Being in a 4-H club also made me do things I never would have DREAMED of doing...such as presentations in front of many audiences.(I won 1st at the highest level you could go)
It is extremely "freeing" to not have that anxiety about going to class. I actually talked to at least 4 people I didn't know. *gasp* *shock*

When Pompei arrived on Wednesday of course I had to do a lot more talking, but he's an easy subject to talk about...plus people aren't really listening when they are sitting in the floor playing with a puppy.

Yeaaah....

But I digress, my writing class, we come into class, sit down, and are smacked with a timed writing assignment. *chorus of groans*

I was going pretty good, until I went back and read the instructions, so with only 12 minutes left I had to wipe my screen and redo the last four paragraphs from scratch. Here's to hoping that was a good decision!

After that Pomps and I headed to Photography Class....my instructor there is an interesting man. I am intrigued to see how this class is going to pan out. Let's just say it was awkward when he told one of his 20something students that she looked like his aunt. *crickets*

Awkward Turtle.

LOL!

It was a little more awkward when Pompei decided to bark in class. I think I can honestly say that this will a semester to remember.
