Thanksgiving Break

Laughter + Fun Times.
Was Fun.
And Tiring.
We spent the weekend in Charlotte North Carolina, for the annual Thanksgiving Fellowship meeting with our Church.
We stayed up 'til 3AM..every night.
We had fun catching up with old friends and meeting new.
We ate out every night.
We went through Wal-Mart on Thursday night.
We decided "never again"
We did not take many photos.
We did not have much internet access (shout out to McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A)
We did not get any homework done.
I decided I want to learn how to play the bass guitar.

The End.

Kids + Photography

This week, I've been ramping it up in the photography department, I figure with four photo class this semester, I will be probably shooting at least two 8 GBs worth of photos..possibly on a weekly basis. So I've been going and just snapping, adjusting as quickly as possible to whatever situation I am in. My hope is too get into event photography as I am horrible with posing/setting up people. Give me dogs or kids and I'm good. Otherwise!? Not so much. This weekend, was our annual church clean up, and we had several congregations from NC and AL come up and help us straighten up the campgrounds for our big Tent Revival type Campmeeting in September.

I happily took kid duty (a rarity for me) and ran for my cameras. It was difficult since it was mostly shaded and we all know how quickly kids move! This is one of the ones I liked the most, not the best but cute all the same.

Have no fear, I was quickly coerced into cleaning bathrooms and washing walls.. with in 20 minutes as a baby-sitter. *snap* Saw through my plan. Sigh.  Thanks mom. :-|

Kids

Next to dogs, children have to be my favorite subjects rarely do I find one that will shy away from the camera. My family likes to harp on the fact that I don't have many "human" photos on my camera. But when I call up for volunteers...they (for some reason) won't volunteer! :P

-Jobs and Things

ben - I was meant to be here!In just a few short hours, another Wilderwood Graduation will become history; I am saddend because once again i'll have to say goodbye to another very special guy in my life.

But he has such a great family, I really can't think sad thoughts for long when I see that face :).

Other news, my air conditioner decided to stop working, and its MISERABLE to inside at least until about 11PM, and than its good until about 12PM, and we're hot again.

The ceiling fans, and my two little desk fans are working their hardest at stirring the heat around...but not doing much good. {*sob*}

Did my monthly shopping yesterday....over spent by about $100.....yeah. not good ERIN. Though I will admit that I didn't do as much planning as I did last month.
Lessoned Learned.

Next week is our church's camp meeting (convention type deal) while I am looking forward to it, I'm completely stressed out as too how I"m going to deal with my dogs not having anywhere to exercise. My park hunt is not going so well, and I'm really starting to be at a loss of what to do. I have thought about kenneling them, but don't have money for that. I am SO moving aSaP....or at least before next years event!

And than after that.....time for my job change at Wilderwood....my time commitments is mostly what I'm nervous/annoyed/stressed/idon'tknow about; but we'll see if my dear co-workers will let B & T hang out in a crate while I'm out there...else its almost pointless to have a dog, if you are gone from them all the time.

...."its the little foxes that spoil the vine".. - Song of Solomon 2:15

And its these little things I'm letting get to me.

But other than trying not to stress...this week has been good.
