Seriously..?

Sometimes I forget I have this blog. Other times I forget on purpose.
I try to write on this blog, as if I were talking to my friends, posting things that I do tell my friends. Documenting memories with photos. But sometimes At the moment, its just another thing to do.
And can I tell you? I'm TIRED.

Tired of going to be, knowing I'll only get five hours of sleep.
Tired of waking up knowing that I have a boat load of stuff to do.
Tired of going home, wanting to chill out and not being able too.
Tired of wondering how I'm going to get the money to pay for school, and other stuff.
Tired of missing out on trips and such like, because of a great lack of money.
Tired of having a house that is constantly in need of cleaning.
Tired of needing to drink caffiene to keep me going.
Tired of fast food.
Tired of the VOLS loosing games. (heehee)
Tired of not being able to hang with my friends like we used to.

BLAH.

But on the flip side. I'm extremely proud of my sister and brother, for making it into the Knoxville Youth Orchestra. They preformed for the first time on Monday evening. Yeah I'll admit to being a little jealous of them, but since they didn't have a pianist anyway, that jealousy would be a bit unfounded.

Part 2 of a Four Part Orchestra
Weston, Kristen and Kristen's Conductor
I'm also super excited to have gotten a B on a written test. People, I do HORRIBLY on written tests. This is a known fact for me, even if I think I know the stuff, I do badly. But this time, I don't know, GOD blessed me majorly and I  passed. I was sooooooo happy walking back to my seat with this in hand. Are you kidding me? Totally made my day.

The End.

November 26

I realize it is sad that I, a photography major but up very little in the photos.on this blog...but my excuse is this. By the time I edit them, convert the from RAW to JPEGS, watermark them, and upload them to Blogger; I'm just slap worn out.

Excuse me while I crack up over my use of the word "slap".

Ok I'm good now. Theres nothing quite like sitting in a cold car, for hours on end, staring down a deserted hallway to make you feel a little corny

That or the caffeine is finally hitting the system. Yes this month has been a failure in reguards to my caffeine "break". I'm not beating myself us about it or anything as I know, I made a conscious decision to drink it again.

This  month has been so.tough. mentally,physically, and emotionally that I've needed the extra boost to keep me going. But I hate the effects that has on my system as well.

Kind of wonder if its the cause of my lack of memory as well...

Sigh.

Now that my head is pounding from staring at this screen ill sign off here.

Last football game of the season tomorrow ...

Go Vols!!!

November 7

There has got to be something in the air, or maybe its the cold weather. Whatever the reason,over the last two weeks, I've had so many posts in my google reader about people "backing off" or "taking blogging breaks"..its not even funny. What is funny, is today's post was going to be this:

Dear NaBloPoMo,
Only seven days into this thing, and already I'm crashing and burning. Though many a "pro" (meaning someone with more than 150 followers) would give "blogging advice" to us "little people" to post, at the very least, daily...I'd never taken that too heart. I mean really, I don't have enough thoughts in a week, outside of school, to write every.single.day.

Well, something that made any sense anyways. Psht. I have a hard enough time writing THOUGHTLESS Thursday posts.

So the fact that I've made it thus far is amazing. But already I'm scrambling going..what in the world am I going to post about tomorrow? My stuffed animal collection? Random photos on my camera? Find a blog meme, to do? What!?!?!
I'll come up with something, just simply because I hate stopping in the middle, I hate giving up.."just because" but I do know, once this is over...its back to the whole once a week...if THAT posting I'm used to.

Believe me when I say..You'll be glad to.

If you even read most of what I say...

However, all those posts about taking breaks has caused me to realize, that perhaps I need to find one day a week to give the whole internet thing a break. Yeah for me its not just the blogging I'm addicted to...cause I'm really not ..hence why these posts keep being posted at 11:30PM thereabouts; But the internet? That I can't break free off.

I spend and inordinate amount of time, clicking through the same.old.sites. Its rediculous...even when I've been able to convince myself to get up and do something else, like cook..or read a book...my phone will go off, letting me know I have a new email and back to the computer I will go.

1 hour later....I'm still there completely immerssed in "whatever" all over again.

It.Is.PATHETIC my friends.

P to the A to the T to the H to the...well you get the point.

So I've decided Sunday's will be my 'net free' day of the week. Sunday's I have church in the mornings and early evenings, I have homework to catch up on, laundry to iron for the week, to do lists to arrange for the week, schedule to check and plan...so much I NEED to do..but can't since I'm glued to Twitter, Facebook and the like. This also means I'm either turning off my phone...or cutting all my notifications off.

Its sort of like breaking my caffeine addiction (2 drinks last week guys!!!!!) horrible at first, but I think I can do it. *shivers*

I think I can, I Think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can
I leave you with a poem.  *ahem* This was one of my mothers favorite poem's in school..

HABITS
A habit is a sticky thing;
Much good or evil it can bring;
It binds a victim, holds him fast,
And keeps him in a vise-like grasp.

Bad habits grow with extra speed,
Much like a healthy, growing weed.
The roots grow deep, the stem grows stout; How
difficult to pull it out!

Good habits are a little slow;
They need a lot of care to grow;
If tended well, they grow more fair
Than any bloom a plant can bear.

Good habits help us all through life;
Bad habits bring us pain and strife;
Our habits, whether right or wrong,
Each day will grow more firm and strong.
-Unknown
To me at least

And now I bid you.....Good Night!

In The News

There are few news stories that have affected me as deeply as the Rescue of the Chilean Miners this week. I vaguely remember hearing something about them back in August, but life gets in the way and you don’t think about these things, when they are in, what used to be, a third world country. Since I don’t have a television, I get most of my news from the radio or internet; when my phone was being blown up with tweets about miners being rescued I hurried to my computer and quickly googled it find out what was going on. Locally not much was said about the Chilean rescue until this week, so I was unaware of the major rescue operations going on!
By the time I found a video on YouTube, three miners (which I keep spelling minors) had been rescued from the shaft.

Now a word about the weirdness that is me, I have these fears: a fear of falling from a great height, (not a rollercoaster girl myself) and fear of small spaces with no way out. I was trapped in a bathroom at church one time, when I was smaller and it scarred me for life. So when I see my greatest fears played out in real life…..

2- At School: Speaking of school, I got all the required information turned into my Financial Aid office this afternoon. My FA "angel" wasn't there today, so I wasn't able to get an in-depth analysis of the information, so I'll mostly likely be dropping by or calling them periodically over the next couple of days, to make sure I stay the forefront of their minds!

3- At Work: Got a big photo shoot coming up, which I'm completely freaking out about! Don't have all the equipment I would LOVE to have to make it work, its hard when people expect you to come up with these great ideas, and schemes when you're flying as blind as they are! No Pressure.

5- Caffeine: I realized today (as my roommate laid a case of Dr.Pepper on the table) that its been three months since either one of us has brought caffiene into our home. That my friends is a major reason why I've been able to stay caffeiene free. ITs super hard if you have cans of it lying around. Now my sugar intake has gone up like a bazillion percent, but it doesn't do near what caffeiene does!

Caffeine

Hello.

I am alive still.

Don't you love it how I post a blog about getting comments and then draw a complete BLANK on what to post on next? I do have a good excuse and its that we're in the middle of our annual church camp meeting, and if I'm not a work, school, or walking the dogs, I'm there. Pretty much getting up at 7ish and going to bed around 1230ish

Which means I'm exhausted. I can barely think straight, I'm stressing over little things and I'm So.READY for this week to be over. I'm chugging caffeine like its water, which is killing me since I'd gotten down to 1-2 cans a week (not DAILY! BIG IMPROVEMENT), and was feeling so much better.

One of my 101 n 1001

91. Give Up Soda for a week (7/7 days)

Would you believe, me a caffeine addict did it? I cannot remember the last time I felt so good. I had energy that was all natural, I was tired at night and could go to bed early, because I could listen to my body! The next week, I was back in the familiar, roll out at 730am (the time I'm supposed to be leaving) and dash to work, and once there purchase a Dr.Pepper to "keep me going." However, I do not like how it makes me feel, and after camp meeting is over, I do plan on working on eating breakfast before work, and getting healthy snacks while I'm there.

AboutMe-Caffeine a scrapbook page talking about my journey to addiction to caffeine. I show two photos of  a can of Dr.Pepper surrounded by some buttons and words

A little "back" info on this page:
One of the things I decided to to tackle this year, was doing a scrapbook all about me. I've tons of scrapbook pages for my puppies, but not much about me. I came across this challenge on Hodge Podge Art to create a "All About Me" album going through the alphabet. This page is "C" for me.
